I only voted 5 stars because I couldn’t rate higher! The online booking system was really well thought through, giving opportunities to answer the important questions before arriving. I loved the special touch of uploading a photo so they knew who they were greeting. The service was amazing everyone was so personal and professional. They did a fantastic job in making us feel so relaxed even in such a “fancy” environment. The food was incredible! As someone who is typically a very plain, picky eater I also worry that I wont enjoy everything. Every selection they put out was cooked perfectly and flavoured exactly right! Value for money was totally worth in! We walked out with the fullest bellies and no register shock! We will definitely make a tradition to return when we are in Geelong again!
Alma was an incredible dining experience. Not only were the cocktails delightfully refreshing, the staff were so attentive and genuine about their interactions. The food was incredible. The flavors were well thought out, everything was rich and full of flavor but also beautiful balanced. We chose an array dishes and was not disappointed. Incredible tasting journey for our palettes.
Amazing night with friends! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavour. Highly recommend Alma for a memorable dining experience in Geelong!
Cool restaurant for a fancy special occasion meal. They have a menu with a few good vegetarian (and vegan) items that would usually just be (very good) sides, a feed me menu and extensive wine list. Its main focus is meat though so be prepared for that if you’re more on the vego side. I really enjoyed their Argentinian Malbec, empanadas, corn ribs, charred broccoli and crispy skin barramundi. The menu is made to share and going with a group could be a good way to try out a bit of everything. The waiters were all really lovely.
Fantastic customer service, really nice ambience and yummy food. The Chef's selection menu is my recommendation, it came with a perfect timing. Excellent restaurant in Geelong.
