Delicious Korean Barbecue with generous serves of meats to cook and enjoy.Staff were very helpful advising us how to cook our food and the atmosphere was fun and vibrant.Definitely worth coming to have a very interactive and fun meal when in Geelong.
It’s always fun anytime you get to cook your own food! Portions were generous and a good selection of side dishes to choose from.
Something fun and different to do and really delicious. The whole family enjoyed it and there was nothing left over! Service was fantastic and friendly. Quality of food was outstanding. Highly recommend the Wagyu Set and fried dumplings. You order via app and pay at your table which I found really novel and easy. It’s also very user friendly and I paid with Apple Pay. We will be back for sure very soon.
I’ll start by saying perhaps in Geelong you are short for choice in Korean restaurants- but we come from Melbourne and my partner is Korean, so we have expectations. We decided to try here as the “taste of Geelong” thing. However, we found first of all the waitress to be rather rude!The meat seemed a bit old- and quite a small portion of really thin meat. The dumplings were cold when served and the fried chicken not very delicious at all.They left the plate on the table to smoke away and burn. We had to hunt them down to change it over for the new meat and once that was cooked they continued to let it sit there and burn away leaving quite a stench! The set was $80 for about $40 dollars of food. No rice included so we paid more for that on top.We had regrets for going! My partner was embarrassed as a Korean and hopes people don’t think this is a representation of all Korean restaurants! But you live and you learn! The next night we had a delicious meal at another restaurant! Would have loved to have gone there twice to try more options!No photos as I didn’t think it was worthy of taking a photo of!
Been to many KBBQ places in Melbourne and this is the worst one. Horrible service and over priced food. Not given a menu or any instructions on how to order after sitting down. We sat there waiting for like 20 minutes until someone finally came to check us and told us where the menu was. Got assigned the worst table (right outside the toilet entrance) when the place was not even half packed. Asked if we could change to another table and got a nasty attitude from the waitress. It was our first time visiting this place and the short hair girl definitely ruined our experience. By the time we left, the place was still not half packed. There really was no reason to put customers right outside the toilet when there were other tables available and act as if we were being difficult for wanting to sit somewhere else.As for food, we (2 people) ordered a BBQ combo set which was a small portion and we left the place hungry.Overall not worth the time and money. Food was below average and the service was absolutely a joke.
